Dementia & Age Friendly Golf Sessions Launching in the Red Rose County.

As part of the UKRI Healthy Ageing Challenge, we are continuing our expansion of dementia & age friendly golf venues further across the UK, venturing into the red rose county of Lancashire.

We are happy to announce that in partnership with Chorley Council, Duxbury park golf course in Chorley will be our next new age friendly golf course.

We will be offering FREE TASTER SESSIONS for people living with diagnosis; Dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Stroke, Loneliness, and Depression.

In addition carers can enjoy a few hours to themselves. As their loved ones are in safe hands enjoying the company of individuals with similar challenges.

Our specialised friendly golf sessions help to extend or start the golfing life of our users. NO PREVIOUS GOLF EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. The vast majority of our service user’s had never picked up a club before attending our golf sessions.

To us it’s important that the golf sessions become part of people’s weekly routine and something to look forward to.
